KYU Number-
- Kentucky Weight/Distance number is required for all carriers with a GVWR of 60,000 pounds or more and operating in or through the state of Kentucky. Quarterly mileage reports are required to be filed with the state of Kentucky directly. This permit is good for a lifetime as long as you maintain your quarterly mileage reports.
New York HUT-
- New York Highway Use Tax or HUT permit is required for all vehicles with a registered GVWR of 18,000 lbs or more traveling in or through the state of New York. Quarterly mileage reports are required to be filed with the state of New York directly. This permit is valid in a series program.
New Mexico W/D-
- New Mexico Weight Distance Tax permit is required for all carriers with a GVWR of over 26,000 pounds and operating in or through the state of New Mexico. Quarterly mileage reports are required to be filed with the state of New Mexico directly. This permit is valid for the calendar year of registration only.
Oregon W/D-
- Oregon Weight Distance permit is required for all vehicles over 26,000 lbs traveling in or through the state of Oregon. Oregon also requires a $2000 surety bond for the first truck in your fleet, which will increase with each additional vehicle added to your OR account. Monthly mileage reports are required to be filed with the state of Oregon directly. This permit is valid for the calendar year of registration only.
State Fuel/Trip Permits-
- Fuel permits are required for commercial vehicles operating with a GVWR of over 26,000 pounds and crossing state lines that do NOT have IFTA registration. Fees vary by state.
- Trip permits are required for commercial vehicles operating with a GVWR of over 26,000 pounds and crossing state lines that do NOT have IRP registration (apportioned plates). Fees vary by state.
*Fuel/Trip permits are required for each individual state you operate in or through without IRP/IFTA registration.
Oversize Permits-
- Oversize permits are required for all vehicles exceeding legal limits for a given state. Fees vary by state.
*Oversize permits are required for each individual state you operate in or through while exceeding legal limits.
NOTE: All Fuel, Trip and Oversize permits accrue a processing fee per permit processed and all permits requested will require a completed application prior to processing. No exceptions.
